We at “The Ivy Stone” take pride in our good food, attentive service, and special home-like atmosphere.  Our family, The Slicks, has been in the restaurant business in Bedford County since 1960.

Our spacious dining rooms are filled with an astounding variety of antiques, collectibles, and curios.  You are sure to find something you'll remember from the past.

Your meals will be served to you by helpful, experienced servers in colonial dress.  Our menu offers over 30 entrees, and you can order “family style” if you like.  You can choose from All You Care to Eat Italian Salad, Homemade Soups, and freshly baked breads and pies.  Everyone who comes to Slick’s “Ivy Stone” is sure to find their favorites.

At Christmas, “The Ivy Stone” is aglow with fresh trees, a Teddy Bear tree, and to delight the little ones, a children’s Candy Tree. 

On Thanksgiving and Easter Days, we serve feasts of traditional roast native turkey, sugar baked ham and all the trimmings!

We are seasonal, open from April 1st to December 22nd.  We hope that you will come visit us and see what the locals are talking about!
