History

Slick’s Ivy Stone Restaurant originally started as Jack’s Place, a small gas station and diner along the busy Route 220.  The original gas station burnt down and was reconstructed.  If you look around, you can still see part of the original structure in our inner lobby.

After changing hands several times, the Slick’s bought the restaurant in 1979.  We opened with two dining rooms and a salad bar.  Soon after we added on the large indoor restrooms and a large waiting area full of things from yesteryear.  Followed by the addition of the Heritage Room.  In 90’s, the Elizabeth Room was built on the back of restaurant.

Today we have seating for 240 guests.  We can accommodate parties from 10 to 200.

We are celebrating our 32nd year at Slick's!
